PEPPERMINT DELIGHT DIP - #00P 90D – J. Carpenter – (24”-EERe-6”-EV) – FANTASTIC VOYAGE X GEORGIA PANSY FACE – This cultivar has been much in demand, and finally it is ready for release. It is amazing in its floriferousness. Single fans set out in August produced as many as 10 scapes the following bloom season. It has five way branching with 25 buds. As shown in the picture the flowers are wide open and flat faced. Pollen is easily used and fertile, but I have not been successful in getting pods. It is a very early bloomer being among the first to start and continuing bloom for up to three months. It is a wonderful parent with numerous of the DIPS shown on the 2002 PANORAMA coming from its pollen use.
