2003 FALL RELEASES

Dear Friends

Each year the time seems to move more rapidly and before we can look up from this year’s bloom season it is time once again to send out this fall release notice. You have continued to be much of our inspiration and motivation in our efforts to bring new and improved daylilies on the scene. Thank you so very much for your visits and kind comments and especially for your patience in the garden when we were so very busy with other customers before getting to you. Our water wells were doing full time during this driest of any bloom season we can remember in our history. Strange that in the last month and a half since closing we have now had 19 inches of rain! In any case it has been a wonderful season thanks to you. The normal routine of preparing beds, planting the seeds, and seedlings continues on now through the fall months. We take pleasure in bringing these new releases to your attention and hope each of you will find something here that you like. We did find four plants in the garden with rust this year. Three were destroyed and one was dipped and replanted with no sign of rust since. We wish the very best to each and all of you and hope the fall/winter season will be good to us all and give us a wonderful season for next year.

Thank You

Jack Capenter
