EVELYN KLOERIS TET – T-20-153(01P 70T) – (23”-EMRe-6.5”-EV) – NEVER SAY GOODBYE X (SEASWEPT DREAMS X TET MAGICAL MELODY) As I write these words tears fill my eyes as I have just typed the words above-“never say goodbye” because that is just what I had to do in the hospital a few months ago as Evelyn and I embraced and reminisced of our wonderful years of friendship before all life support was to be removed as she requested. She was ready to be freed of all those earthly fetters that were preventing her from entering into His Glory. Now she is with Him and because of that fact I knew my “goodbye” would one day be followed with a new “Hello!” and embrace! Evelyn and my mother were best of friends and her two children are still two best friends with me. Our families were so close as we were children growing up and we vacationed together as families. Evelyn was also a secretary to Vernon Carpenter, my uncle, for many years. She was a person whose path crossed mine and many others and all of us were so blessed by her touch. Evelyn loved the colors of yellow and pink and it is with great pleasure that I present the cultivar EVELYN KLOERIS. The 6” large cream-yellow flowers are extravagantly ruffled and often have a blush of pink on them. They bring great beauty into the garden early in the season. Scapes have three way branching with 15 buds and scapes repeat. The cultivar is fertile both ways. $100.00
