2006 SPRING RELEASES
Dear Friends,
We are pleased to be able to bring a new group of Spring 2006 releases that we think will offer something of special merit for your consideration. The past fall was a trying one not only from the drought but also from Hurricane Rita which gave us a near direct hit. Only one shade house was damaged here at the farm, but many trees throughout the area were downed by the 100 mph winds. We thank all of you who were able to come in person to our farm and those who support us by way of our brochures of releases. As in previous years you have made it possible for us to continue our work with the daylilies and to continue advancing our hybridizing program.
We are eager to see the arrival of another bloom season and see what delights will emerge from those twenty thousand beautiful little black seeds that we planted last year. This anticipation for us here is what makes the growing of the seedlings so much fun and seeing those new and more beautiful advances in the daylilies is what has continued to spur us on over these 52 years. Thanks to each of you again and may the spring bring great things for your garden and ours this year.
