BOOT SCOOTIN’ BEAUTY

Carpenter-Glidden - TXNAT - (20”-ERe-6”-Ev) – SDLG. X J.T. DAVIS - Our friend Anna Rosa Glidden made this selection from a large group of the pre-selected garden seedlings as the one she wished to have for the 2008 National AHS meeting in Houston, Tx. Anna knows her daylilies and she made a wonderful selection. BOOT SCOOTIN’ BEAUTY bears a Texas country sounding name. Flowers have beautiful green throats and are of the heaviest substance. Flowers have a yellow-gold color with strong pink blushing and extravagantly pleated, yellow ruffles that occasionally have slight hints of green in them. Beautiful sculpting rises onto the petals from the rich green throats. Three-way branched scapes have 17 buds. The cultivar repeats and is fertile both ways. $
